Search and Rescue Kits

DONATIONS TO SEARCH AND RESCUE

One of the most common things hikers are unprepared for is an unexpected night on the mountain. Many set out on what they think is going to be a simple day hike, forgetting to pack warm clothing in case of an emergency.

Minus33 recycles gently worn returns and garments with minor defects that are then assembled into “kits” – a head-to-toe outfit of warm clothing. The kits go along on Search and Rescue missions. Once victims are found, they can put the kits on, and start getting warmed up immediately. This helps to prevent or delay hypothermia.
